Is PDFTape free to use?
Yes. The browser app is free for merge, split, and convert, with no account. The Mac and iPhone apps are free downloads; Pro costs $2.99 USD once on mobile and $2.99 USD once on Mac, as separate purchases. Local prices vary. Mac Pro adds unlimited files, page editing, and compression.
Do my files leave my device?
No. PDFTape processes every file on your own device — in your browser, on your Mac, or on your iPhone. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.
What is the difference between the browser app and the Mac app?
The browser app is free and handles up to 2 files at a time for merge, split, and convert. The Mac app is a free download with Finder integration; PDFTape Pro is a one-time unlock for unlimited files, page editing (reorder, rotate, remove), page setup, and compression.
