PDFTape for iPhone and iPad is a native, touch-first app — not a squeezed desktop screen. It handles the paperwork that starts away from your desk, entirely on the device.

  • Scan paper

The native document scanner finds edges, fixes perspective, and turns paper into clean PDF pages.

  • Fill and sign

Complete PDF forms, then draw or import a signature and place it exactly where it belongs.

  • Merge, split, arrange

Reorder, rotate, crop, and exclude pages — the original file is never modified.

  • Protect

Lock an export with AES-256 password encryption before it goes anywhere.

  • Compress

Pick small, balanced, or original quality and see the export size before you share.

  • Export anything

One PDF, single-page splits, or PNG and JPEG images. Files leave the app only when you share them.

Privacy

Your document is not our business model.

PDFTape is designed around local file handling. The product does not need your documents on a server to do its job.

  • PDF bytes stay on the device while you work.
  • Core tools work without creating an account.
  • Mobile exports leave the app only when you share them.
  • Browser processing happens inside your browser tab.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Is PDFTape coming to iPhone and Android?
Yes. The iPhone and iPad app is finished and being prepared for App Store review — store links will appear on this page the moment the listing is live. An Android release on Google Play follows.
What does the mobile app do?
The first release covers scanning paper with edge detection, importing PDFs and photos, arranging and editing pages, filling forms, drawing or importing signatures, password-protecting and compressing exports, and sharing only when you choose. Documents stay in the app’s private storage while you work.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your own device — in your browser or the Mac app. Your files never leave your computer and are never sent to our servers.
What do I need to run the Mac app?
macOS 13 (Ventura) or later, on both Apple Silicon (M chip series) and Intel Macs.

Start where you are.

Use the browser now, get the native Mac app, or grab the mobile app the moment it lands on the App Store.
