Overview

The PDFTape Mac app keeps your recent files and saved workspaces close, so you can pick up where you left off. History is stored locally and you can clear it anytime.

  1. 1

    Reopen recent files

When you open the Mac app, the home screen shows your most recently used PDFs and images. Click any item to reopen it instantly.

    Step 1
Recent files appear on the home screen
  2. 2

    Resume saved workspaces

A workspace preserves an in-progress edit: the source files, page order, rotations, and removed pages. Click a workspace to resume exactly where you left off.

    Step 2
    Saved workspaces preserve edits
  3. 3

    Pin or clear history

Pin a workspace to keep it at the top of your list. To remove entries, click the actions menu on any item or clear all history in Settings. Your actual files are never deleted.

    Step 3
Pin important work or clear history
Tip: If you prefer a minimal home screen, you can hide recent files, saved workspaces, or both in the app settings.
