Overview

The PDFTape Mac app includes a workspace where you can clean up a PDF before exporting. Reorder pages, rotate scanned pages, and remove pages you do not need. Your original file is never changed.

  • Drag thumbnails to reorder pages.
  • Rotate any page 90 degrees clockwise.
  • Delete pages without altering the source file.
  1. 1

    Open the workspace

Launch the PDFTape Mac app and open a PDF. The workspace shows a thumbnail for every page.

    Step 1
Open a PDF from the home screen
  2. 2

    Reorder pages

Click and drag a page thumbnail to move it to a new position. The page numbers update as you drag, so you always know the final order.

    Step 2
    Drag thumbnails left or right
  3. 3

    Rotate pages

Click the rotate button on a thumbnail to turn it 90 degrees clockwise. Click again to rotate further. This is handy for scanned documents that came in sideways.

    Step 3
Click the rotate button on any page
  4. 4

    Remove pages

Click the remove button on any thumbnail to delete that page. Removed pages are gone from the exported file, but your original PDF stays untouched.

    Step 4
Click the remove button to delete a page
  5. 5

    Export your edited PDF

Click Export. Choose a folder and filename in the save panel, then click Save.

    Step 5
Save the edited PDF anywhere on your Mac
Note: Page editing is available in the Mac app. The browser app focuses on quick merge, split, and convert jobs.
